Part 2 – Tear Down (Disassembly)
In this video we will continue tearing down the 4 wheeler to get the frame, subframe (sub frame), swingarm, and a-arms ready for powder coating (powdercoating) and the engine (motor) ready for rebuild. We will be unhooking and removing the exhaust muffler and head pipe. Then the oil lines, coolant drain, cables & switches, oil delivery pipe (y-tube), carburetor, throttle cable, throttle sensor, radiator hoses, gear shifter arm (shift pedal), case saver (crankcase cover), cylinder head cover, cam chain tensioner, camshafts, cam caps (cam covers, cam holders), cylinder head, top motor mount, cylinder (piston jug), starter motor, stator cover (alternator cover, left cover), wire harness clips (wiring harness clips). We unhooked and removed all of the nuts, bolts, thrust washers, collars, bushings. Also the adjusters, springs, seals, crush washers, circlips, snap rings, clamps, brackets, and rubber grommets.
