Part 3 – Tear Down (Disassembly)
In this video we will continue tearing down the the 4 wheeler to get the frame, subframe (sub frame), swingarm, and a-arms ready for powder coating (powdercoating). Then the engine (motor) ready for vapor blasting & rebuild. We will also be removing the motor from the frame by unhooking and removing the stator (alternator). Also remove the wire harness clips (wiring harness clips), flywheel bolt, starter reduction gear, timing chain guides, timing chain, piston, wrist pin, counter balancer bolt & bracket (counterbalancer), crankshaft bolt & gears, clutch cover (right crankcase cover), clutch basket, clutch inner, pressure plate, clutch fibers (clutch discs), clutch springs, shift shaft, shift drum stopper arm, oil tank, radiator, temperature sensors, steering stem, tie rod ends, pivot bolt, and motor mounts. We unhooked and removed all of the nuts, bolts, thrust washers, collars, bushings. Then the adjusters, springs, seals, crush washers, circlips, snap rings, clamps, brackets, and rubber grommets.
